The Landes has a fantastic ocean environment with miles of perfect sandy beaches
(not to mention some of the best surf in Europe). The beach is just 5 km away
(as is the Atlantic Park water sports centre).
Cycles can be hired from reception and the numerous cycle paths allow quick and
easy trips to the beach. Alternatively you can take the shuttle buses, which
operated in the summer months.
There is an internationally acclaimed golf course just 4km from Les 2 Etangs.
The food minded travellers will definitely be won over by the Landais cuisine.
There are some wonderful local restaurants nearby offering the traditional
regional dishes for which the area is famous.
The site is currently undergoing comprehensive improvement works, which will be
finished by the end of 2010.
